Three times a year, in the hills of St Ann, Jamaica, members of Zion Revival churches gather at Watt Town for a pilgrimage.

For several days, elders pass on to younger generations songs, rhythms, gestures and a spirituality deeply rooted in Jamaican history.

ENG – Watt Town: Holy Songs from Jamaica takes us inside this ceremony and reveals the often overlooked influence of Revival on Jamaican culture, from Rastafari to rhythms that would later find their way into Dancehall.
